Standard Mediation Rates
See rate chart below for standard “In-Person” and “Virtual” mediation rates, plus supplemental charges, for up to six parties, effective for new bookings after January 1, 2024. Call for a quote where more than six parties.

*GTA includes the regional municipalities of Durham, Halton, Peel, and York.
A Full-day session is 7 hours in duration, plus preparation time of 2 hours. A Half-day session (GTA locations only) is 3.5 hours in duration, plus preparation time of 1.5 hours. If the Mediator’s preparation time for the mediation, or the time spent conducting the mediation, exceeds the stipulated times, then the additional time spent may be billed at an hourly rate of $385.00 plus HST. Half-day mediations will be billed as a Full-day session if they run more than 2 additional hours beyond the standard 3.5 hour Half-day session time.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled date of the mediation do not attract any cancellation fee. Cancellations made between 30 days and 7 days before the scheduled mediation date attract a cancellation fee of 50% of the regular rate for the mediation. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled mediation date attract a cancellation fee of 100% of the regular rate for the mediation. As well, if the Mediator has incurred disbursements to third party providers for rented space, etc., which he cannot cancel, such charges will also be payable by the Parties in addition to the cancellation fee.
